You can open an account online, visit your local office or schedule an appointment with a Dollar Bank representative. A minimum opening deposit of $50 is required.
In-Branch: To open an account at a Dollar Bank office, you’ll need to provide your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number or taxpayer identification number, and a valid non-expired government-issued ID. You’ll also need an opening deposit using either cash or a check.
Online: If you open online, you’ll also need to provide your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number or taxpayer identification number, and a valid non-expired government-issued ID. You’ll fund the account during the application process, which you can do by using a debit card, the routing and account number from another bank account, or by securely transferring funds via ACH using your online banking login information from another financial institution.
There is a $3 monthly service fee.
No. No Minimum Checking is a good fit for customers who prefer paper statements by mail. If you elect to enroll in eStatements, your No Minimum Checking Account will be automatically converted to Free Checking, which does not have a monthly service fee.

Using the My Cards section in the mobile app, you can add your debit card to Apple Pay®, Samsung PayTM and Google Pay. There will be steps to confirm your identity. Once you have completed the steps, your card will be available in your mobile wallet.
Early Pay may allow eligible customers with direct deposit to receive funds before their scheduled payday when payment information is received early by Dollar Bank. Early availability is not guaranteed.
