At Dollar Bank, we recognize the economic importance of supplier diversity. We believe that an essential part of our success depends upon the vitality of the communities within which we live and do business, and strive to maintain a business environment that promotes qualified diverse suppliers through our Supplier Diversity Program.

Dollar Bank is committed to ensuring our Supplier Diversity Program provides on-going support and equal access to potential business opportunities for small and disadvantaged businesses, minority-owned businesses, woman-owned businesses and veteran–owned businesses. 

About our Supplier Diversity Program

Dollar Bank’s Supplier Diversity Program advocates the utilization, growth and development of diverse suppliers. The Supplier Diversity Program also includes such functions as:

  • Seeking new diverse suppliers that meet the requirements for quality, service and value.
  • Supporting community and professional associations.
  • Auditing, reviewing and evaluating progress.
  • Encouraging Dollar Bank’s primary suppliers to utilize their own supplier diversity program.
  • Participating as active members of the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC), the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (OMSDC), the Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBEC) and the African-American Chamber of Commerce.


Applicable products and services  

At Dollar Bank, we set high standards for our institution and the products and services we offer. Accordingly, we expect the same from our suppliers and appreciate suppliers who can provide high quality products while helping us to continuously search for ways to lower our costs.

Although Dollar Bank’s purchasing needs vary from time to time, the following are some of the most frequently procured products and services:

  • Building services (appliances, artwork, construction, flooring, lighting, locks, movers, painters, etc.)
  • Graphic services
  • Landscaping services
  • Office supplies
  • Printing services and supplies
  • Production services and supplies
  • Software services and supplies
  • Telecommunication service and supplies


Eligibility requirements  

To qualify for our Supplier Diversity Program, a company must be operated by one or more of the following:

Minority Business Enterprises (MBE):

A minority-owned business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated and controlled by minority group members. "Minority group members" are United States citizens who are Asian Pacific American, Asian Indian American, African American, Hispanic American and Native American.

Woman Business Enterprise (WBE):

A woman-owned business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated and controlled by a woman who is a United States citizen.

Veteran-Owned Business (VOB):

A veteran-owned business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated and controlled by a veteran who is a United States citizen.

Small Business Association (SBA):

A small business is defined as independently owned and operated, organized for profit and is not dominant in its field. Depending on the industry, size standard eligibility is based on the average number of employees.

Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE)

A disability-owned business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated and controlled by one or more persons with disabilities who is a United States Citizen.

In addition, certification is preferred but not required. Dollar Bank accepts up-to-date certifications completed by a regional council of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), Woman’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), Small Business Association (SBA) and/or any federal, state or local government affiliate. 

How to register

Please fill out our online form to register for Dollar Bank’s Supplier Diversity Program. Registration is not a guarantee of future business. Your company’s information will be kept on file for one year following your registration. We will contact you if an opportunity becomes available.
